How snow, ice, and freezing temps affect your service—and how we keep your yard clean and your property safe.

❄️ Winter brings snowy landscapes, colder temperatures, and a few extra challenges when it comes to pet waste removal. As conditions change, so do the ways we safely and efficiently service your yard. We want to be transparent about what to expect during winter months and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Our top priorities are safety, protecting your property, and maintaining reliable routes for all of our customers—no matter the weather.
❄️ Snow-Covered Yards & Route Efficiency: When snow is on the ground, our technicians will follow visible tracks and paths already present in your yard. To maintain route efficiency and avoid unnecessary damage to your lawn or landscaping, we do not dig through deep snow to locate pet waste. This allows us to continue servicing as many customers as possible while preserving your yard until conditions improve.
🧊 Frozen Waste on Decks, Porches & Yards: During extreme cold, pet waste may freeze to the ground or to hard surfaces such as decks, porches, patios, or walkways. Our technicians will make a reasonable attempt to remove frozen waste, including gently kicking or loosening it when possible. If the waste is frozen solid and cannot be safely removed without scraping, chipping, or risking damage to your property—or impacting route efficiency—we will leave it in place. Once weather conditions improve and the area thaws, we’ll return and take care of it with ease. This approach helps protect your property while keeping our team safe. 🧤
🚪 Gates, Access & Snow Build-Up: If your gate is locked, frozen shut, or blocked by snow, and we’re unable to safely access your yard, your service will be skipped for that visit. Keeping gates unlocked and pathways clear whenever possible helps ensure uninterrupted service. Thank you for helping us help you! 🙌
💩 Missed Visits & “Double Dooty”: Winter weather can be unpredictable. If your yard is skipped due to snow, ice, or access issues, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! Once conditions allow, we’ll do “double dooty” to make up for any missed service. 💪💩
🌱 Looking Ahead to Spring: For customers on our regular service routes, your spring clean-up is included as part of your monthly subscription. Spring clean-ups for existing customers are completed before we begin accepting new seasonal clients, because our loyal customers always come first. 🌷
💙 Thank You for Your Understanding: Winter requires flexibility, and we truly appreciate your patience and continued support during the colder months. Our goal is to provide dependable, high-quality service year-round—while keeping your pets, your property, and our technicians safe. If you ever have questions about winter service or access concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to help!
